Is it possible to use and assign function to an additional MIDI controller - e.g. Machine. Same way you can have both S4 and an additional MIDI controller running with Traktor. Here's the reasons why: (a) 4 cue points on Xone is too limiting - I want more; and, more importantly, (b) the cue buttons on the xone just aren't durable enough for really aggressive use the same way pads are. But i don't want to replace Xone entirely. I like the jog wheels and the functionality with them. And i like using the dial for tempo. Any good news you can give me?

Hey Reza Afshar,

At this stage MIDI controller devices outside of the supported controllers are not available.

Thanks. When you say "at this stage" does that mean that they will be soon? Isn't it something that can be done with software and firmware updates? If so, are you developing the necessary changes. It's quite necessary. Apart from anything else, the trigger buttons for the cues on the Xone are not robust - you often get double contact, which means that cues don't come in at the right place.

Hey Reza,

Currently ITCH exists as a 'one to one' system with supported controllers only. If it was to be updated it would be a software update however, I couldn't say if or when this could possibly be available.

OK. That's a shame. It would make it much better if one cold supplement with additional programmable MIDI the same way you can in Traktor, but without all the clutter of Traktor. I'd urge you to develop the capability.

I suggest you take it to the ITCH General forum, our Product Owners do keep an eye on the forum, i'm sure with enough support anything is possible.

Thanks. One last question. If I switch to a different ITCH controller, do all my Cue points etc remain in tact so that I can keep alternating which controller I use for different occasions? I assume there are no bugs or glitches that would cause me problems?

Cue points are saved to your ID3 tags in your files. Should be fine.
