I have the recording level maxed and its so very low when played back. Even on the allen and heath xone dx the level meters only do 1 green ligt at the very bottom of the meters.
Judging by reviews of the product i am worried i am going to lose support and you will ignore this product in the future and wont update it; is this true?

Hi rawb888,
Can you please let me know how your individual channel gains are set?
I can't comment on the future of the product sorry but I can say that you will continue to get support from us here :)

Since the channel gains on the Xone:DX are actually the software track gains, these will be quite low individually as 4 tracks playing together can peak this quite easily and cause the limiter to engage. This is the nature of software mixing unfortunately. If you are only playing a couple of tracks though you should be able to turn these up a bit more. You could also increase the headroom in the setup screen?

In terms of your crash, if you quit first then remove the USB is it all good?

You should be able to increase the track gains enough to get a good recording level without redlining them. Can you let me know if the actual waveform of the recording has a much smaller amplitude than normal?
