Software serial number: ?
Guitar center will not let me return the product unless Rane Serato said the software been deactivated. There wasn't any need to enter software serial number when I installed Serato Itch. I need some clarity on this situation. Thank you

Hey Jo de Presser,

ITCH software is free and downloadable online, the hardware controller is what unlocks software. There is no need to deactivate anything. If they have a return policy they should be able to help.

I figured that...It took him by surprise when I pull out my phone to go online and do what he said I must do to return the xone:dx. I showed him that there wasn't a serial number for registering the software. He then said he'll let me return it anyway...yeah right! Trying to discourage me...it didn't work. Thanks for your help.
