my 2007 macbook pro motherboard finally crashed... im going to purchase a new mac this week and wanted to make sure it will work... the FAQ said Scratchlive is now supported on 10.7.x and thats good.. since it doesnt seem to have the i-series processor issue, is there anything else i should worry about? Can I use 2.3.3?
i use a SL1 and a RaneTTM57
Thank You

What machine are you looking at?
Pretty much any current Mac laptop will run SL beautifully, although I wouldn't recommend the 11" Air...
2.3.3 works fine with 10.7, and all Macs will work with your SL1 and 57.
Fear not.

Not really much difference. If you've got the money to spend, go for it, but the cheaper one is plenty powerful enough for SL.
What I would suggest is buying 8gb of ram from OWC or Crucial afterwards, it'll only cost you about $60 and makes everything feel nice and speedy.
