Hello.
I have a problem with VIDEO SL. The program often I reset (several times per hour). This occurs more often when I use video effects. Most of the videos I have HandBrake obrobionyh in accordance with your instructions on the page, the rest of my video comes from paid websites for VDJ's. At the following link contains a file with an error.
What is the problem?
Regards Simon.

That should run ok... Have you done all the optimisations listed in the support area?
And have you set it so the laptop is definitely using the AMD graphics?

Yes. I think I did anything.
The Dell does not have the possibility to switch between graphics cards. We are constantly working on AMD.
I noticed that the problem often occurs when adding video files to the deck.
What should I set the buffer settings VIDEO SL?

Hi Dziadek,
Sorry to hear your having issues with Scratch Live and Video-SL. Lets get them sorted.
Firstly, you could have a look at this windows optimization guide and try a couple of the tweaks suggested. sera.to
Make sure the graphics card drivers are up to date and set to high performance.
Secondly, do you have the recommended codec packages for Windows installed ? Do you use QuickTime or Directshow to decode your video ?
We recommend using both of the following codecs for DirectShow for use with Video-SL:
* FFDShow www.free-codecs.com
* Haali Media Splitter (MatroskaSplitter) haali.su
You could also try the K-Lite and CCCP codec packages from here; ninite.com
Use the defaults when installing.
Note: If no codec is found, then QuickTime will be used to decode the video.
As far as settings for Video-SL;
Scratch Live>Setup>Dispaly> Maximum Screen updates to 60 seconds and Audio cache to 30
Video-SL>Setup>Info>Buffer 1GB ( in the middle )
Video-SL>Setup>Output>Quality Medium to begin with
Make sure your video files have been encoded correctly.
The recommended container is MP4 with the H.264 Codec for video and AAC Codec for audio.
The video part of your file should have keyframes every 15-25 frames.
If you use Handbrake to encode your video files we have created a preset you can use. There is a preset for PC and preset for Mac.
Try these tweaks and let me know i performance improves and we'll take it from there.

Hello.
I used QuickTime.
All the time I use HandBrake to convert video with your settings.
I installed K-Lite and CCCP and introduced a set of which you wrote.
It is much better. VIDEO SL program is not crashes, but once the time the image of one or the other deck's gone. It's just a black image. It does not help load the next video (the image is still black). I then go into settings and manually disable and enable the plugin Video SL. It helps and it works normally for some time (but still much longer than the previous settings).

Hi Dziadek,
Is this a desktop setup ?
I'm still not sure that Video-SL is utilizing the full power of your graphics card ?
Can you manually change the settings to high performance for that graphics card ?
