Hey Signs,

I've looked at this file and it's not the files. O.k let's try a few things.

Q: Are you using iTunes in saying that are there iTunes logos in ITCH next to your files?
Q: Are you using an external drive to read your files from?
Q: Can you rename over things like 'Comment" etc?

Let's start here first then figure it out from there. Let me know how you go.

no i don't use Itunes.
no External Drive
and yes i was able to change Song or Artist.

Hm strange. This file Works on my PC but not on my Notebook.
A few days ago i had some Files where changeing worked on my Notebook but not on PC.

But I've got no idea which files it likes and witch not.
After changeing the Genre via Windows Explorer or MP3 Tag once, i can also change it via Itch

Let just work on your User account control. Run through this : serato.com

Also try moving one of the files from wherever it is to the desktop and try re-importing it into ITCH and see if it still doesn't work.
This sounds like a permissions issue within your Windows file system.
Let's try these things then come back to me and if it doesn't work we can try some other things.

User Control is completele disabled on both PC's.
I also started Itch in "Administrator mode" (right klick > Run as Administrator).
Most files work great, but some don't. Never had this issue in a older Version of Itch before.

I will try copying to the desktop alter. All the other Files in this directroy work. And they are all from the same source. It's really strange.

hm I don't know how much files. On my PC i found about 50.
On Notebook just one. But maybe i didn't notice more (because you have to load the files after editing)

O.k after looking into this with you i've come to the conclusion that this is maybe a bug for some people, we have logged it with the team and we hope to have this sorted out some stage in the future. I can't say when but it's being investigated.

Sorry that i Reopened this thread again.

I good friend of mine just gave me a couple of songs.
Well. I found, that I'm not able to change the Genre at only one of them. On none of my 2 PC's.
So i will attach one of them. Maybe this time you aren't able too. Who knows.

Please check it out.

He used Traktor. and all the Songs had been anlysed by Traktor before. Maybe this is the Problem???

Really anoying to always search for the song in Windows Explorer to edit the Genre....

You still need help with this? Sorry must have missed this thread somehow Signs ...
