When I play a track the volume goes up and down, or in and out, like someone is playing with the volume knob. But it only does it on Channel #1. I switched phone cables in the back of the mixer to make sure it wasn't the turntable and needles and it still did on the other turntable. Channel #3 is fine, the mixer is brand new, I had it for about a good month, always used it analog, just hooked the serato up yesterday and it's started doing it. If I hook it back up and use it analog the channel is fine, it has something to do with serato....i guess. Thanks for your help.

Go to Set-up/Hardware in Scratch Live. Does your Mixer have the latest Firmware Update?

Also, have you checked group B-6 to make sure you dont have an Effect On?

Thanks for the link, that wasn't the problem but I figured it out. I don't know exactly what I did, since I had it in analog for so long I might of been playing with the knows or something, but anyway, I had to go into B2 and then turn both PAN knobs, the left deck all the way to the left, and the right deck, turn the PAN knob all the way to the right. Now that works and balances out my sound and I'm getting good levels and no more paning...but is that normal? Shouldn't they be in the middle? If I'm writing you in the wrong place in the forum I appologise and start a new Help request, but thanks again.

You should not have to do that.

Pls connect the Mixer to another DJs Set-up and test again. There may be something going on with the Software on your Computer. We need to confirm where the issue is: In the Mixer or the Computer you are using.
