I would like to know why every single track that I purchased on Itunes and converted shows as a corrupted track? reason invalid frames. reading you tech tips, this can make the application crash. that just doesn't seem correct. what is causing the application to see this as invalid frames or is this something that happens when the file is converted? I know one thing I WILL NEVER BUY MUSIC ON ITUNES AGAIN. When I buy the music I shouldn't have to train a dog to walk on water and a elephant a tight rope to change MY MUSIC to mp3 format. what a frickin JOKE. So do tell cause I do not want to be in the middle of a gig and have this application stop. need a fix for this. using dell xps 15z core i5 which i see there is another article about issues i need to read. sheesh

Firstly, there are no issues with your processor and the SL2. Only the SL1 which is USB 1.1.

It's unlikely that all your iTunes purchases are all corrupt direct from iTunes, I buy most of my music from iTunes.

There must be something else going on...

At the start of your post you say 'downloaded and cobverted', are you converting the files to something else before importing them into SL?

Thanks PhatBob. Yes these are tracks I have converted from the format ITunes originates in to mp3. Any suggestions? Serato cant play the tracks from itunes? I am new to this and have questions that may have answers I don't see. For the high tech hustle seems like you should be able to do so.. suggestions?

You should be importing the .m4a tracks from iTunes straight into Scratch Live. They are fully compatible, and by converting them you are losing sound quality and POSSIBLY the encoding process is what is causing the corruption.

Try loading some of your iTunes purchases straight into SL, and see if they come up corrupt (they certainly shouldn't).

What software have you been using to convert the files?

yeah I feel stupid. I work as IP Engineer and couldn't figure this out. So all you have to do is go to the files and drag it over. can I blame this on stupidity please? ugh. thanks PhatBob- send me your email will buy you an ITunes card for your time sir.
