I purchased a new Mac based on the Minimum specs listed on your website under Video SL. I recommend you change the specs under Mac because after having problems and going thru your website the newest Mac versions do not support Video SL. My question is do you know if you are working on something coming out in the next month or so? Also, do you know if down grading the operating system to 10.6 Snow Leopard on my new Mac, will this make the Video SL work? Has this been done and succesful?

Video SL should work except for one small bug. There are plenty of us running 2.3.3 + Video SL and or MixEmergency for video with no problems.
By no videos working what do you mean? Do they not load into Serato at all? Do they load into the player and you get sound but no video?

VideoSL works well on the latest Mac OS.
There is a bug with the Image Effect, but that should be fixed in the new version, Serato Video, which has been heavily promoted and is scheduled for release in March.
If you are having problems besides the Image Effect on 10.7 then you should post a detailed breakdown of the problems and I'm sure the support staff will be able to help you out.

Videos work on Mac PRo 10.6, but purchased a new mac book pro os x lion. Videos have sound only. Video Sl output box comes up black and no box for left or right deck come up videos come up. The VideoSL tab is on right side versus left side. If you need any more details please advise.

Hi djchago,
As others have stated in this thread Video-SL is not officially supported in Mac OS Lion due to a couple of small bugs that we have been working through here.
The BROWSE button in the IMAGE EFFECT setup causes the Video-SL plugin to crash.
Otherwise the rest of the video-SL plugin works as it should and there are a number of Video-SL users on mac OS Lion using the software successfully.
As far as the Video-SL TAB appearing on the right hand side of your Plugins pannel that is very odd. Is it possible for you to take a screen shot and attach it to this thread so I can have a look at it here.
Colud you also detail your full computer specs including the graphics card that is installed as this will help us to troubleshoot your issues more acurately.
In regards to the minimum specs for running Video-SL these are just that minimum specs. The Mac OS Lion Known issue has been posted in the known issues area of the forum since the OS was released.serato.com
Do you have Perian installed on your new laptop ? Perian is a free, open source QuickTime component that adds native support for many popular video formats. we recommend that all Video-SL users on a Mac OS download and install Perian.
Perian downlaod; perian.org
If you could let me know your specs and if you could attach a screen shot of the plugins panel that you describe and we'll take it from there.
