I've been using this mixer and for some reason I'm now having ground issues with the mixer. The signal metter on the top left and right will start to show 1/2 full with red and as I tap on the mixer it either gets more distorted or less. This event happens on different turntables with different cartridges and at a stand still.
I will be posting up pictures shortly.
Thanks in advanced for the help.

Are you leaving the needles on the records as you tap on the Mixer? If so, what you are seeing is normal. It is detecting the noise and vibrations coming from your tapping.

No I'm not leaving the needle on the record.
In the video it starts with the needle off on the left side than i do an instant double onto the right put it in relative and then you see that it is happening to both sides. When I eventually put the needle back onto the record you see it works fine. However when I'm scratching or playing house music and the needle is on the record for a long time i get digital distortion. The track goes in and out.

Looks like you simply need to Calibrate. Are the Estimate Sliders in the Set-up screen set to -72?

Do you mean calibrate with the estimate button in the setup screen?

Originally it was at -48 on both sides but after this I changed it to -24 with the needles off the record and held down on the estimate like serato instructs you too.

The issue is due to grounding then. Do you have the decks grounded to the mixer? If so, try grounding them to something else.
The ground cables from your decks may need repair.

It's not the ground cables because I've tried the mixer with 2 different turntables and different needles.

When you do not have decks connected, do you still get noice in the Set-up screen? If its not the decks, the noise should remain.
Have you tried switching USB ports and Cord aswell?
