Rename the _serato_ folder on your external drive, so you've got backed up right to the minute.

Then open SL and try and import your video files from the external fresh.

If the problem stops, there is something wrong with your _serato_ folder.

If the problem persists, it's your drive or your files.

Well thats the thing, i havent even imported any videos yet. Library works just fine when the enable video sl button is not checked, as soon as i check this button, it pinwheels for 5 minutes then when i try and load the library up it pinwheels again

Wow... That's a weird one.

I expect the support team will be able to help.

Yeah I am kinda hoping the new video SL will solve it as i hear its supposed to be less load bearing on the CPU

Sorry to hear your having issues with your Scratch Live library and Video-SL.

Could you please detail your full computer specs including the graphics card that is installed as this will help us to troubleshoot your problems more acurately.

As I understand it you have Video-SL installed but have yet to import any video files into your Scratch Live library. Is this correct ?
How many video files are on your external hard drive ?
How much free space is on your external hard drive ?
Could you detail which hard drive you are using ?
Are you sure you have READ and WRITE permissions on the external hard drive ?

Where have the video files come from ?
Do you have Perian installed on your laptop ?

Have you tried rebuilding your database V2 file recently ? sera.to

If you could let me know these details and we'll atke it from there.
