Hi guys
Got a strange thing happening with the 'year' tag on my new video files. I'm downloading these files from Promo Only in the correct manner, loading them into my Serato as normal and changing the 'year' tag as they don't come tagged with this for some reason. Now when I load the load the track, the 'year' tag changes to the track number. Confused..? Very..!! Every time I change a year tag, it reverts to the track number on loading... I'm guessing the stem of this is possibly a problem with the track coding at Promo Only but they are next on my contact list. Thought I'd try and cover all the bases as it's driving me up the wall
Thanks
Gav

This seems to be a common issue with 2.3.3.
Hopefully it will be fixed in a new version sometime, but in the meantime if you use the year tags a lot you might want to go back to the last version which worked well for you.

I have not tested this with 2.3.3 yet but it doesn't happen in 2.2.0 which is my stablest version currently.

I'm having similar problems where I will anaylze my video track and mark them with cue points with the offline player/serato live software and then when i get to the club I will have to anaylze them over again witht eh TTM-57 plugged in.

Hey djgavh,
We have had a few reports of similar issues and are looking into it. Can you please let me know what file types these are? If you use another version of Scratch Live do you get the same issue? (you can download earlier versions here > serato.com)
Perhaps you could upload one of these files and give me the exact steps I would need to take to reproduce this. Cheers :)

I am having the same issues with mine as well. Oddly it happened when I tried to change the PO clips from being tagged as "Music Videos" to "Movies" (like the rest of my imported videos I have encoded). If I load it back into iTunes it shows the mangled year, which I can then retag and if I then load the track into one of the decks in Serato it now has the correct info. When I do ID3 tag rescan though it sometimes reverts back to the messed up year.
