If i buy the video sl serato for my pc ...... what type ofvideo format does it accept cause the videos i have are mp4.... and if i buy the video sl does that install as a differnt icon or does it install it in the serato scrtach live 2.3.3 ???

Firstly..plz make sure your pc fits the requirement to run videos it takes a dedicated video card and alot of RAM. Personally I highly suggest a mac if you want to run video. But to answer your question mp4 videos are fine and are recommended. Video-SL installs as an "add-on plugin" in scratchlive and yes it has it's own program icon.

ok .... i have a question about the new serato video..... I want to use videos for my dj set.. but i never bought a serato video sl. So i see that they discontinue the serato video sl.. So I want to know want is this new Serato Video that came out and where can i purchase this new one... i really dont like to buy online .. i would like the the box and software in my hands for it... but i just dont understand it cause if you never had serato video sl ... does that mean you cant use the new serato video????? or you have to buy as a new customer.. cause like i said i never had the serato video sl and what does this new one have to offer?

If you already have Video-SL and want to use Serato Video, its just a free upgrade for all existing Video-SL users.

If you never had Video-SL and would like to use Serato Video just purchase it online thru the Serato site.

I'm not sure if there is a box set yet with Serato Video, but there might be Video-SL boxs still at your local Guitar Center and you can just purchase it that way and than upgrade your serial # to a Serato Video # for free thru the Serato site.
