Holy shit, Solomon from here? The one who played at the basketball games, dope Dj. I remember talking to him about switching up hands and he said breaking his thumb was a blessing in disguise.
I didn't know him personally but that sucks to hear.

So sad to hear... My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones. His Twitter shows that he was on the way to Bangkok to play. Did something happen abroad?

Wow that sucks, seemed like a real cool guy from any interactions I had with him. I hadn't seen him around here in a couple of years but always remembered that guy.

Yup when AM was getting shit on in the forums Solomon always chimed in. I remember reading on this forum solomon teached alot of us to learn relative mode. This was awhile back but i remember it like it was yesterday cause I was so interested in the benefits of relative.

I haven't posted on the forum in years - but just heard the news about Solomon! He was such a nice dude - always had time to drop wisdom and PM some advice to me despite never having met him and living on the other side of the world!
My thoughts and prayers go to his family! The intenational DJ community lost another great teacher and genuinely decent person! Rest in Peace!

I'm 90% sure that is him. He isn't credited in the video I think because it was a "leak"

Damn, a shed a tear on that thread. I remember I lost contact with Soloman for a few years because as we grew older we all went our separate ways I wasn't Dj'n any of the mainstream bottle service clubs back in 06,but I wanted step into that market. I actually went to Slide that week and hung out with him.
My most fondest memories of him were our early years in the mid 90s. He was the #1 frat party DJ at UC Berkeley. He would get so much work,he would give us gigs he couldn't do. He was also quite the host and use to throw really dope house parties at his spot in Berkeley. Every DJ in the Bay Area respected him. He had zero ego and was as humble as it gets.
You'll be missed my friend.

Terrible news. He was always so upbeat and positive when he would post on this board, and I've never heard or read him say a harsh word about anyone. He will be missed.

Definitely a pioneer. One of the first to publically use/showcase DVS technology in the clubs. He is a tough person to replace in our SF DJ scene.

Really good dude, met him for the first time in 2008 when we DJ'd Scotty Boy's birthday together at Wet Republic, and played together with him a few times out in Vegas after...super humble, dope DJ...it's amazing how most of the really good ones are cool people too...you don't hear too many of the "Oh yeah, he's dope, but he's a fucking dick." All the assholes are mediocre at best.

I knew him very well. We became friends over 8 years ago while I was playing a party in San Fran. Solomon was by far 1 of the most humble and kind hearted guys u could ever wish to meet. I feel ive been blessed by having in my life as long as i did. I dont know why it is that the good ones get taken early. Yes, he was also friends with AM too. Its been a tragic couple of years and I wish both familys strength and peace..Love Justin

I'm watching the Warriors game now, and remembered a DJ posting here saying he was the DJ at Warriors games..he even showed a video of a news story about him. I Googled just to see who he was, and it said it was DJ Solomon who had died. I said..maybe that's somebody else? So I searched on here and see this.......wooooooooooooow!!!! I had no idea!! R.I.P.
