When I loaded my tracks to be played, it would start as usual, but for some reason, the play button would not be lit and the controller stopped spinning. The track would play but I couldn't control the music. I can load and cue tracks but I cant play them. I restarted several times and the same situation happened.

Hey CM Sparks,
First off can I get you to download and install the latest version of ITCH (2.1), as version 1.4.1 is quite old. You can download 2.1 here : serato.com
See if version 2.1 fixes this. If it doesn't please let me know :
- Do you have the latest firmware installed on your NS7? You can check in the Hardware tab of the Setup screen. If an update is available it will say 'Click to Update Firmware'.
- Do the platters control the waveform at all?
Let me know :)

Logan,
Firmware status says up to date . Heres the troubling i'm having . I play maybe one or two songs, then the platters stop spinning but the wave continues to play. I can load and cue a selected track but when I press play and attempt to blend it will not work.
I have to quit the program and then re open. last week and this week I had to repeat this process and after several restarts it worked.
My external drive has been giving me an issue could that be hindering my NS7? I will follow up once I update, thank you

So the platter just stops spinning and you can no longer play the track? That's very strange. Does the play button still light up? Also did you update to the new version of ITCH?
A good way we can tell if something on your external drive is the problem is simply to disconnect and try DJing without it. If you don't have any music on your internal to test DJ with just copy a few files over. Does it still happen when your external is disconnected?
Also, when this happens if you turn the platter motor off and then back on again does that fix the problem? There is motor button on the NS7.
