Yep just what I figured...Shill #2 posts a few hours after Shill #1, mentioning "media conversion" crapware. Neither with any prior post history, of course.

Anyone downloading (or god forbid actually buying) any of that crapware is just as guilty as these pathetic forum-spammers, since free non-crapware is readily available.

I think a lot of these spammers are mostly interested in getting site visits, with the scam websites themselves attempting to install malware. Seems to be more and more of that now.

What's kind of bad is that the people most likely to fall for that ruse are probably also most likely to be browsing on an out-of-date Windows installation with an out-of-date browser and lacking decent malware protection.
