I've downloaded the pitch n time le version for mac to use with protools thinking it must be some kind of demo version....anyway I'm starting to think I have this wrong as when I go to open Logic 9 it gets stuck scanning for the pitch n time audio unit.... I don't think I have ilok installed on my machine and from what I can understand I should have had this?
Any way can someone offer advice on the best way to rectify this.s I just wanted to try it out but now the studio has come to a stand still :(

ok, switched logic 9 from 32bit to 64bit mode and it opened without scanning for audio units.

I'm afraid to close it now!?...

Hi Gdude,

You will need to have an iLok to authorize the demo version still as it is fully featured. Once you have an iLok you need to send a 30 day demo license to your iLok account via the download page for Pitch 'n Time LE here:

serato.com

If you do not wish to do this you can download the Logic limited demo which can be found here:

serato.com

The reason that 64bit Logic won't scan for this is because Pitch 'n Time LE is not supported on 64bit Logic due to iLok not being compatible with a 64bit environment.

Let me know if you would like to uninstall Pitch 'n Time LE.

I don't have ilok so I'm now trying to install the limited demo version, it still goes to the ilok install box after pitchn time is installed but stops at the destination stage telling me I have a newer version installed on my system. I can't see an uninstaller? I tried skipping the ilok installation but logic tells me I'm trying to open a plugin that hasn't been authorised.

Can you please uninstall Pitch 'n Time LE fully before installing the Logic limited demo? To do this, close all programs and delete this file:

HD>Library>Application Support>Digidesign>Plug-Ins>Pitch 'n Time LE.dpm

After you remove this, run the Pitch 'n Time LE logic limited installer and restart Logic 9.
