Unfortunately, this look like a bug within the 2.3 update. For now, please continue to use the 2.2.0 version until a fix is added to a future update.

Damn what about is SL-1 users ? there is still plenty of Us still out there.
I downloaded the 2.3.1 update and really loving it as it is solid like 1.9.2.
But...... We still missing ASIO Drivers :(
I looked throuh the drivers folder and they are all there But not for sl-1 64 Bit I see 32 bit asio for sl-1 but not 64 Bit. Is there way I can save the 2.2 drivers ?
Good Job On the 2.3.1 release..... ROCK SOLID

Try installing the 2.3.1 version with out the SL1 connected and see if it removes the ASIO drivers again. I'm hoping the drivers will remain installed if the SL1 is disconnected during install :)

Thanks for trying. Unfortunately, this will need to be fixed within the next update. For now, please stick with the 2.2.0 version (or earlier) until then.

Hey mr187,
If you connect the SL 1 and go to Start -> All Programs -> Serato Scratch Live and select 'Install ASIO drivers', after this are you able to use the SL 1 ASIO driver while you have 2.3 installed?
This will hopefully be fixed in the next version of Scratch Live :)

I tried that I see everything else except the sl1 in vdj and deckadance.
I tried a friends system he has the sl3 and asio worked on his system.
I really hope that rane isn't silently droping support for the sl1.
M-Audio is well known for that that is why I never buy anything from them.

It's not a sly phase-out but merely a bug I can assure you!
Like I said I've logged it so it will be fixed, in the meantime you can use 2.2.0 as Rafael suggested.
If you have any questions let me know :)

Looks like the 64 bit ASIO drivers are missing all together for sl-1. I installed 2.3.1 on a 32 bit system and ASIO work for sl-1. the asio folder is empto for sl-1 64 bit just a empty folder but there is a file in the 32 bit asio driver folder so somebody must have forgot to put the 64 bit ASIO Driver in the installer.

If you go to Start > All Programs > Serato Scratch Live and click 'Install ASIO drivers',
does that install the drivers?

It looks like rolling back to the 2.2.0 version is the only fix, for now :(

Hey mr187,
Did you have ASIO drivers installed for any other Rane hardware? Were they also uninstalled with 2.3.0? Or was it only the SL1 drivers?
Did you have the SL 1 plugged into your computer when you ran the installer?

If you haven't already, please try the newly released 2.3.3 version of SSL and see if it fixes the problem.

Hi mr187,
I found a workaround to your ASIO drive problem.
Please try this:
Exit Scratch Live.
Click the Windows Start menu
Click Computer and open your local C: drive
Open the Program Files (x86) folder
Open the Serato folder and then the Drivers folder
Open the ASIO folder and then open the 32 folder
Locate and copy the SL1 and 57SL folder (Ctrl C)
Back out of the 32 folder
Right click on the 64 folder and select Paste to paste the SL1 and 57SL folder
Once the folders are copied into the 64 folder and then close the Explorer window.
Click on the Windows Start menu again
Go to All Programs
Open the Serato folder
Open the ScratchLIVE folder and double click the option "Install ASIO Drivers" and follow the prompts.
After the driver successfully installs and your computer restarts, retest (you may need to disconnect and then reconnect your Rane hardware).
