Just wondering if the skipping issue has been fixed. Read up a lot about problems with it in the past; was wondering if it's now fixed?

Is this just the CDJ2000 or will it apply to the 900 also?
This is in the release notes:
"Fixed an issue when touching a platter not in VINYL mode would cause the sound to skip"
Vaguely related to the sound skipping anyway due to bass vibrations making the CDJ think something is touching the platter.
Anyone have a 900 that can confirm this?

no that was a different bug when u touched the platter would skip. the other bug is that bass/vibration bug. which serato and pioneer still working on. im not sure if this just goes for the cdj2000 or if it is ALL cdj hid models.

i am on of the manny affected with the drift with heavy bass/Vibration issues....i've been using HID mode since the very beginning (i took my chances and my driftings) and never went back on control cds....
yesterday, i had a 9 hours wedding, (from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m) NOT A SINGLE DRIFTING...with 2.3.
And to tell you the truth i was expecting them, since this was my first night out with 2.3, what a surprise...
so everybody should take a look at his/her personal system because it could work for some....
cheers serato!!!

I know this! I don't think Serato would fix the issue in 2.2 then remove the fix for 2.3... :)

Would turning the Vinyl Mode off help the issues with the bass vibrations? And then I heard put a towel under the CDJ, to help lower the risk of vibrations.

You need to turn On the "Anti-shock mode" , for this just put 2 Discs and go to link mode
Good Luck ))

@ Staas
So you just have to put in any CD in each deck and the anti-shock mode goes on automatically. or do you have to put it on and dose this really work to stop the skips from vibration
Thanks
