I'm using an Axiom pro for Midi Controls as well as the Dicers.

First off, occasionally it works fine. However, the majority of the time my midi controls are out of whack. For instance, I have a knob mapped to the quick select for VSL Effects, however, no matter which way I turn the knob (pos or neg relative offset), the effects only scroll up (pos rel offset). Upon inspecting the midi parameters, the quick select knob (inside of the midi control panel) is behaving normally.

Sometimes it works great, though. However, this is only if I plug the keyboard in after SL is running. Further, the Dicers always work so I am wondering if this is a hardware problem with the Axiom Pro. I've looked through the midi XML files and everything looks fine. Also, I tried with my PC and got the same shotty results. Time to invest in something better or what?

The question is: If you have the keyboard plugged in before you open the program, everything works fine?

Also, do you have these MIDI setting saved in the Set-up screen? Or are you letting the mappings Autosave?

Or both? (I ask because I notice you loaded both files)

RafaelM:

Thanks for the quick response, it would only work occasionally if I plugged it in after Serato was started. I believe I have fixed the problem though! I was getting back on to close the thread. What helped me out was I changed the keyboard's internal midi out to USB instead of the standard midi cable out. Works like a dream now! I'd apologize for asking in the first place but I believe it inspired my solution.

Thanks
