I am currently using the following:

Computer
Qosmio X505, I7 with 8 Gig Ram, 4 USB inputs

Mixer
Pioneer DJM 800

Tables
Pioneer CDJ 900

Scratch Live & Video SL

I had been using Virtual DJ for events that need live video feed and slide show presentation. Through virtual DJ I could assign my DROID as as a secondary camera and use Droid-CAM app to stream live wireless video through the internet connection or blueray. I need these features about 1/3 of my events but I really would like to use Serato. I use video files all the time in my mixes with Serato, no problem there there. So I am asking for recommendation for Live Video Feed and Slide Show Presentation. Also, I have a strange issue with my video being cut off about 1/8 on the left hand side of the display I'm projecting on. It has happened on multiple TV screens - To date, I've tried LG, Samsung and Panasonic and I have adjusted my computers resolution to try all options and still no luck... not sure what else to try

The live video streaming is more of a feature request for Video-SL and should be posted in the Video-SL Feature request thread here: serato.com

The display cropping issue you are having is odd....

Could you give me details on your Video-SL Setup>Output settings.

Could you also give me details of your video card in your laptop.

Let me know these couple of things and we'll take it from there.

Graphics Card is 1GB Nvidia GeForce GTS 250M

Computer is a tank, run mydmx & serato together - never had an issues....There is NO problem with video playback, freezing, drops, etc...

Output to TV's I have tried VGA and HDMI and both give me that 1/8 cut off screen on the left hand edge of the display monitor. I have tried full screen expansion for the output window, and also tried manually expanding the output window, no difference...

I want to showcase Serato (not Virtual DJ) for these events that need slide shows and video feeds and I'm sure there are alternate configurations. I am looking to avoid running two computers, especially since I know this computer has the performance capabilities.

Hi Dannny D,

The cropping issue sounds like it is happening in your secondary display preferences as Video-SL scales to your video cards capabilities. Could you let me know what settings you are using in Video-SL Setup
Aspect Ratio: ?
Media Treatment: ?
Quality: ?
Arrangement: ?
I will have a look at the possible options for you in regard to slide show and live feeds.
