I have two issues:
1. Video sl (1.2) is not playing/supporting my .avi files/videos. How can this be corrected?
2. How do I change the crossfader speed on computer (I currently do not have a midi controller or Rane mixer) to be able to transition between videos quicker.

Hi mate

after taking someones advice on here i installed perian which is a driver that has lots of codecs in

perian.org

secondly as for the auto cross fade on the curser keys

make sure in the main set up / plug ins / video-sl has the use curser keys box ticked

then open video sl.

and open its setup boxes. click control and in the left of that box u will see a rotary knob which is the control speed for the auto crossfader. the more left it is the quicker the cross fade

i use promo only for my dvd and mp4 discs. then smashvidz for keeping up to date and dj friendly stuff then itunes to get me out the sh!t
