Could you please give me a little more detail on your computer specs, ram, processor and video card. Are you using an external hard drive to store your .MP4 files ?
Did you install or update anything else in your system that may have caused conflict ?
What are your settings in Setup>Video-SL ? Buffer, V-sync and Frame Blend ?
Could you please double check which 5 digit software build number you are using which can be found in the bottom left corner of the Setup screen in Scratch Live.

A little more detail and we'll endeavor to resolve the problem.
