Hello,

I just downloaded the demo version of Pichntime pro (with temporary Ilok key) to see if it would please me, and was trying to use it with PT 9.0.3 native 9with CPTK).

I have the following problem:
I can type into number boxes such as 'target rate' but when I do 'enter' or click elsewhere to confirm the entered value, the value is not kept. Is this a bug?

I can't then tweak Pitch n time to the values I need, because the only way I have is the slider, and that is not precise enough.

For instance, I need to timestretch a 5.1 mix from 23.976 fps to 25 fps.

in the fields source rate and target rate I tried the following, to no avail:

SR: 23.976 TR: 25
or
SR: 1 TR: 1.04270937604 (i.e. 25/23.976)

is there a way to achieve this?
An't there presets for the kind of post prod manipulations?
What would be the timimg precision of the stretch on a 2 h program? (better than half a frame?) (precision could be not achieved due to rounding errors in the target rate value, if it accepts only a small number of digits after below unity for instance).

Thanks a lot,

Laurent Gabiot.

Hey vhu,

Check out the FAQ on converting frame rates here:

Let me know if this helps at all or if you are still running into this problem.

Cheers,

Sam.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

It doesn't help, because my problem is I can't type the number (as I mentionned, for instance 1.04270937604.

More precisely, I can type it, but the number box doesn't take it (if I go to another box, or hit enter, my number is changed (reset to 0 for decimale values for instance).
