Run the terminal...

to see all the installed AudioUnit plugins, type this (and press 'enter' of course)
auval - a

to validate Pitch 'n Time (if it exists), type:
auval -v auol PnTm Srto

hi goran, ok this is new to me what is terminal and how do you run it? thx

Sure...

You can find it in "/Applications/Utilities/Terminal"
It's an "old way" of interacting with the system, before graphical user interfaces existed.
So type:

auval -a

(and of course anything you type into terminal assumes you press "return" or "enter" afterwards)

You should than see a list appear, and should find the Pitch 'n Time row.

If so, type:

auval -v auol PnTm Srto

(and press enter)

The auval program (Apple's own program) will then check that AudioUnit plugin is OK. You may see a PACE window pop out. Try this without iLok plugged in, which should pop this window. And also try with your iLok plugged in...in which case the PACE authorisation window will not appear, and the plugin will be validated properly.

Also, can you find out for us what is the version of Pitch 'n Time you are using. From your home directory go to ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components. You should find Pitch 'n Time.compoment" there. Click on it and press Apple-i . You should see the version in the popup window.

Also are you on an Intel Mac or PowerPC?

Welcome back,

Unfortunately, we do not currently have Pitch 'n Time Pro for Logic. Pitch 'n Time Pro is only available for Digidesign Pro Tools.
