Hello! I am demoing the Pitch Shift plugin for Pro Tools.
I have captured video from an HDCAM SR deck slowing it down (4.1%) from 25psf to 23.98psf.
The sync is correct but I need to pitch shift the audio now. However, I was wondering what the correct magic number to use for changing the semitone or cents. I tried one semitone and it seemed close but since it's a professional project I do not want to guess through trial and error. Is there a certain number or calculation to use? OR a different workflow? Thanks you very much your help. I certainly will purchase the plugin once I know it works correctly.

Hi RachelM,

There's an FAQ explaining how to do this here -> serato.com (click link). So in your case you'll enter the source rate as 25, the target rate as 23.98 and Pitch 'n Time will calculate the conversion for you :)
