after installing LE last night and using it in protools 9 i realised it did not have all the same stretch algorithm's as pro, which i use at work. The FAQ "What is the main difference between Pitch 'n Time Pro and Pitch 'n Time LE?
Pitch 'n Time Pro and Pitch 'n Time LE both include Serato's award winning Pitch 'n Time algorithm so both versions produce the same high quality output." i assumed i would be able to stretch/compress voice with the same "sound quality" but if i can, i cant figure out how. can any one shine a ny light on this for me? thanks

Hey SGM,

As Pitch 'n Time LE is a lighter stripped down version of Pitch 'n Time Pro it only contains one algorithm as opposed to the three that are included in Pitch 'n Time Pro. The statement in the FAQ is true in that both versions contain the same award winning algorithm for pitch and time shifting although the Pro version contains two additional algorithms. In the case of vocal stretching, only Pitch 'n Time Pro contains the vocal algorithm and therefore there will be a difference in output between the two versions.

Cheers,

Sam.
