Can you use Pitch N Time with Pro Tools 9?

Hello, I purchased Pitch N Time years ago and used it successfully on my G5 with Pro Tools HD 3.. I am now running Pro Tools 9 on my Laptop on 10.6.5..

I wanted to install PnTime from the installer CD I have from my purchase.. The version on the CD is V2.2

I saw nothing in PT so I went to the website and downloaded V2.5

I still see nothing in the plug in folder.. Am I doing something wrong? Is it useable in PT9?

Hi Brett,

Yes, Pitch 'n Time 2.5 will work with Pro Tools 9 (however there is one known issue, listed here -> www.serato.com).

The first thing I'd ask you to check is to make sure that Pitch 'n Time Pro is installed in the correct location. If you open Finder and go to the Macintosh HD -> Library -> Application Support -> Digidesign -> Plug-Ins folder, is the Pitch 'n Time Pro.dpm file there?

Also do you have an iLok key with a Pitch 'n Time Pro license connected to your computer?

Pitch 'n Time 2.5.1 has now been released, which includes a fix for the issue I linked to above. You can download this here -> www.serato.com (click link).
