Version 1.2.2 of the Rane Series Dynamics should be compatible - is this the version you have installed? If not, you can download this here -> www.serato.com (click link). If this is the version you are currently usuing, can you please elaborate on the crashes you are having?

The gate is causing PT 8.1 and PT9 on snow leopard to crash? opening and closing sessions with the plugin in a session will cause a crash!!

I'll place the plugin back in the folder and get some crash logs when i have some time free!

Also the Avid compatibility page has ALL serato plugs marked as NOT COMPATIBLE for PT9 ???

Crash logs would be very useful! If you're able to get one, please attach it to this thread.


I'll have our Plug-Ins team contact them to have this amended. They should all be compatible with Pro Tools 9.

Yes thats the compatibility grid! and they have just this week updated it!! i did inform Avid support last week.

I'm using the latest version of the plugins!

I'll get some crash logs for you! though because of other issues i have had to revert back to PT 8.-0.4 But i still have a PT9 boot drive to check

i have just done a complete fresh install of everything!! and so far the gate has been ok! only done basic testing so far but looks like it could have been something about my last system that it didn't like.

I'll get back if i experience any problems!

good to have the gate back in my sessions along side the rest of the serato plugs!!

Unfortunately i'm having this issue with the gate again!!

It appears to work ok but when i later try to re-open the session it wont load the session until i remove the gate plugin from the plugs folder! it starts to load the session then stops and freezes whilst activating inserts. as i said once i remove the gate from the plugins folder the session loads ok!!

Unfortunately no crash, it just freezes on loading up, so i have no crash logs to offer

If i open a new blank session it seems to work ok, but once i get stuck into a full mix situation it starts to corrupt the loading of the session.

There is one more anomaly i've been getting! and if you view this video you'll see the issue with the LED's flickering.. this is a blank new session!!

i have the same problem with pt 8.1 working with windows xp and HD Accel 2.
i have updated to the latest version 1.2.1
