Hi Georgie Doll,
Is this occurring after you use another audiosuite plugin? There is an known issue with this which is explained further in an FAQ here:
www.serato.com
This should be fixed for the next release although unfortunately I can't give you any timeframe as to when this could be.
Let me know if you are experiencing a different issue.
Cheers,
Sam.

Thanks Sam,
I'm not sure about that...I don't use plug-ins often but that doesn't mean the answer is definitively no. I've never had the problem before...I just upgraded to Snow Leopard and this is the first I've seen it. Quitting and reopening the program has fixed it temporarily, but it's been a big pain....: ). Anyway I'll look for the FAQ.

I just opened a session, had not used another plug in or done much of anything, tried to stretch something a few frames, and got the solid line with glichy sound. I quit PT and opened the session, then got same result! Trying not to panic....I'm in the middle of a project and need things to work. : ) Any other ideas?

Hello...should have done this before, but I just realized this is a compatibility issue. I'm on Snow Leopard, which Avid says is not compatible with P'nT 2.5. Is there a work around by any chance?

Are you able to try using the B algorithm? Does this issue only occur using the A algorithm?
