In Absolute Grid mode, the TCE tool is not snapping to grid with Pitch n Time algorithm selected. Slowing down workflow, as I have to :
1) Stretch designated region PAST the grid point
2) change from TCE tool to trim tool
3) trim later region back to the grid point
4) change back to TCE tool to continue working.
I've never had a problem until about a month ago, and it's hit or miss/completely unpredictable. Usually when this incident occurs, I can undo, and restretch, and it will fix, as well as occurrences only happened once or twice in a session (I'm time aligning drums, so I have around 1000 edit points from start to finish, so you can see how this can be a major problem).
For the last few days, I have had nearly every one of these hits not snapping to grid. It falls just short of the grid (about 4 ms, consistently every time)
I have uploaded 3 screenshots hopefully detailing the problem a bit more, visually.
www.johndenosky.com - Overview of my session with each hit time-aligned (This is the way I've been working for nearly 2 years, and haven't had this issue, so I know it's unrelated to the amount of edits)
www.johndenosky.com - The current edit in the middle of the screen is the most recent one that had this problem

Any help you can give would be awesome. I noticed there's an update for the pro version that fixed "TC/E tool not functioning as expected" or something like that. Is there an update fixing this on Snow Leopard for LE? or possibly a beta? My only other solution is to try the pro version, but I've already used a demo, and if that wouldn't fix it, I can't justify the extra expense, esp if the LE algorithm works the same for what I'm trying to do.
Thanks so much for your time and help.
