Video is already there in ITCH 1.7, as an Eastern Egg.
Just open History tab, type letters from "F" to "K" on your computer's keyboard 29 times, then (on the controller) simultaneosly turn full cockwise then anti-clockwise the MID knob 6 times; at this point turn the jogweels (or platters) simultaneously an exact 180 degrees clockwise, then follow the instructions that will prompt on screen.
A video deck will appear; you can now mix videos, make fancy transitions and apply After Effects plugins at will.

@DJCerla LMAO (even made my checks hurt from laughing)
I had to do that exactly 4 times and repeat the 3rd step exactly 48 and a half times to get it working. :)

@ Esco
see? It wasn't that hard! Now let's turn your petition into "PETITION FOR EASIER VIDEO MODE ACTIVATION STARTED BY DJ ESCO"!

@djcerla
Yes I think I can agree with that.
Just FYI I am just kidding <------ I needed to declare this before I get a flood of calls (more than I currently get already)
It important to have a sense of humor.
On a more serious note: We are all highly antisipating this feature.

Actually I don't care about video, but all-in-one controllers seem perfect for this purpose... Why not? But before: hi-quality time stretch algoritm please.

I really don't know if Video is the priority right now.......since the developers are sorting out ITCH 1.7

I think (in reviewing concerns in previous versions vs. the current one) we are getting near to that stage (f not there already) where in the latest version(s) it seems it is at that point of perfection. :)
We notice a good consistancy between operating systems, versions and platforms (meaning: Mac and PC OSs, and Variants of each platform)
In quality control you will always notice a "trend factor" develop on any new product (and should be anticipated and looked for no matter how much palnning went into something) this trend is what you eleiminate to produce a better product. Serato has done a great job of using this forum as a tool for trend analysis thus bringing in changes to improve and meet our wants and needs. This is something not every company does employ however, should to be better than those that just "meet the standard requirement(s)" set fourth by the company itself and not the end user.
Honestly, going digital with controllers is the way to go. The theory used by engineers and design teams of "form fit and function" in the end is only as good as the lifespan of the product which is marketed. The NS7 and Serato's Product lines are an excellent example of adaptability and expandability.
Remember there was a time people cried, demanded, fussed, threatned, moaned and, whined (better yet said requested) Effects when the NS7 first came out..... Now we have effects........and now people want video.... (drum roll ????)
