After a few uses, PnT stops working properly... need to restart Pro Tools

After maybe one or two uses in Pro Tools Audiosuite, Pitch n Time Pro 2.5 stops working properly. It processes the audio as a flatline that pops at the start of playback or by listening with the preview button. The only way to get it to work again is to restart Pro Tools. This is very frustrating!

Hi MICDI,

Are you using Pro Tools 8.0.3 or 8.0.4? If so, there is a known issue where if you use another AudioSuite plug-in prior to using Pitch 'n Time Pro in the same session the output is silence or pops as you have described (see here -> www.serato.com). For now the workaround is to ensure Pitch 'n Time Pro is the first AudioSuite plug-in used or to restart Pro Tools.

We are currently working on a fix for this for a future release of Pitch 'n Time Pro.

Pitch 'n Time 2.5.1 has now been released, which includes a fix for the issue I mentioned above. You can download this here -> www.serato.com (click link).
