I use this same mic with my 57SL and it sounds amazing! What is the best way to get the best sound from the mic input on this controller. Should I leave the 4th Channel EQ even and adjust the setting from the mic EQ on the front? What should I set the volume and gain levels at on the 4th channel?

Hi Jon,

What is your USB buffer set to? Because the mic gets routed through the software this needs to be as low as possible without causing you to get USB dropouts for it to sound the best. I would leave the mic EQ in the front flat and adjust using the channel EQ's if you need to.

Also, it might help diagnose what might be the problem if you could describe "sounds horrible" in more concrete terms. Delayed? Clipped? Sound is off? etc.
