Itch is often to crash on my windows 7 PC 32bit (Lenovo T60, 3 GB RAM, Core Duo, I have install the XONE:DX 32-bit Windows 7 Driver), if I play and mix songs and copy any songs in another crate. Suddenly is Itch 1.6 freezed!

It's a risk for me, to use this software with Xone DX on my DJ-Gigs. A great pity! And that for a heavy price!

Hi Beatbaby.

Can you please check over this article and make sure you are doing everything in the following article:
www.serato.com

Can you please also explain the freeze more:
How long does it freeze for?
Does the freeze stop by itself?
Do you do anything to stop the freeze?
Does the audio, visual, or both freeze?

Cheers.

I read yesterday. My computer is optimized for Itch, it's only for my dj-job with less applications and services. :-)

Now I know one reason, when Itch crashes. Look to my Quicktime Movie (100 MB ;-): rare.de
When I use the "Area"-Button und go to "Browse" and scroll the "Genre"-Area, Itch will freeze, please look to the video. Thank You.

BTW: Exact the same error happens on my Lenovo W510 with Windows 7 Pro 64bit and 8GB RAM and Core i7 CPU.

Itch 1.6 is bad. I'm angry! Don't works stable on two different Win-PC. The next bug I found: I imported a new song in the library, I play only any songs. Then I close Itch and press the Exit-Button and then Itch will freeze. Isn't cool, really!

The next problem: when I have disconnected the hardware and use the internal player, what is happen? I can not hear music, but my soundcard is correct. What means that?

I have install Itch 1.6 on a Notebook (Core Duo 2 MHz, 3 GB RAM) with Windows XP Pro. Itch will not freeze, but the internal player doesn't works and the sound is deformed. I can send an audio file.

We don't advise on release dates for software versions I'm sorry. But not too much further :D

I'll close this thread down now that we have this in our bug list. If this happens again feel free to reopen it, or if you have any new problems start a new help thread and we'll get right on it :D
Cheers.
