So i had my turntables and Scratch live set up in my basement and it was working fine...this weekend i took everything with me to a cottage and reconnected everything when i got there. I loaded Scratch live and loaded a song to a turntable however when i go to play it it doesn't work. The virtual turntable wont start spinning, so i checked my setting there were no changes, i switched to diff modes (rel, int, abs) still nothing. So i took everything apart and reconnected it. Still the problem continued. This is the first time ive had this problem. I think this could be a connection problem from the computer to my SL1 box, but that's my thought, and im sure im wrong has anyone encountered this issue b4?

Hey DJJAMZ,

What do you have in your set up (Turntables/mixer/CDJ's?)

Was there any sound, or was it just that the virtual deck image wasn't spinning?

no sound...and i have turntables, but that virtual deck image wasn't spinning at all

How have you connected everything? Have you made sure your transform switches are on "line"?
DJJAMZ 12:27 AM - 21 April, 2010
everything was connected properly and yes they were on line i even swiched back and forth to make sure still nothing its really upsetting me could their be an issue with my actual SL1 unite?

Have you tried changing out the USB cable? If you play regular vinyl through your turntables do you get sound?
DJJAMZ 4:52 AM - 21 April, 2010
i havn't tried that but i will...would i be able to purchase a usb cable for the SL1 separately?

Yes, you should be able to get one easily from any electronics store. Its called an A to B USB cable.
