2: i clicked to ''analyze files'' buton ,but it's setting the bpms as ''176,146,187...'' i cant turning the bpms to the normal bpm values..( i double-clicked to the bpms but its not work.)

Hello nofrost,

Can you please try explaining the latency your getting a little better?
I have not heard of any latency issues with 2.0.

You need to delete the bad bpm data from the bpm column.
Once done, change the bpm range (next to the analyze files tab) depending on what type of files your wanting to bpm.
If its hip hop you'll want to choose 68-135.
Once the range is selected, highlight the files your wanting to bpm, and drag/drop directly onto the 'analyze files' tab.

That should properly calculate the bpms.

hi,
thanks for the bpm tip.
infact, its not like a latency, the main waveform moves slower than control vinyl.there is no problem with 1.8.1 version.

my usb buffer size is: 10 , audio cache : 60 sec., and max. screen updates :60 sec.
(2.0 version)

i tried it, but its not about graphic ,its about latency ,about the sound ..i think the realistic is different between 2.0 & 1.8 ..
and how to clean the ''history '' at 2.0?

thanks for help.

Is it a latency in the graphic or the sound?
Please try recalibrating. --> scratchlive.net (older video but its the same process)
Remember.. this needs to be done every time you move to a new location.
After calibration, the number in the upper right corner of the scope view in the setup screen should say 0.0 while the needle is on the record and the turntable is stopped.
If that number is fluctuating than you need to manually move the threshold slider to the right until that number is stable at 0.0.
If you've moved the slider all the way to -24 and its still fluctuating than you have a grounding/interference issue somewhere in the chain.
If this is the case first make sure that your turntables are grounded.
Next try to make sure that the SL1 interface isn't sitting next to a power source such as a power strip and that the cable coming to and from the SL1 interface aren't being laid across anything that conducts power.

If your still having issues it might be helpful to create a short video showing the differences between 2.0 and 1.8.

As for clearing out the history... highlight the date of the set and hold down ctrl + delete.
You could also delete the History folder located in your ScratchLIVE folder on your internal drive. Just make sure SSL is shut down prior to doing so.

yes i agree having same issue too ..the waveform speed dosent match with the control vinly .. its killing my hype in the club
nofrost 9:39 PM - 15 April, 2010
yes MISTER RIPPER!
thats im talking about exactly. i think ,there is a problem with the 2.0 version, because 1.8.1 works perfect..
nofrost 11:38 PM - 15 April, 2010
we can change the topic of this discussion as ''the waveform speed dosent match with the control vinly at 2.0 ver.''

thanks mister ripper.

i also did the plus and minus waveform zoom out it made it go faster but its still off not like in 1.9.2 when using vinly

Hey guys,

I spoke with Serato about this yesterday and they were saying that this could be due to SSL needing its processing power for the new 2.0 features.
SSL will take care of audio first and if your computer can't handle it your graphics may suffer as they are handled second.

If you uncheck all the extra stuff in the plugins tab does it run any smoother?

Im running a new Macbook Pro with 4gb of ram and im also have latency problems with 2.0

Can someone post a video that shows the difference between using 1.9.2 and 2.0?
Also try turning off all the extra stuff in the plugins section of setup to see if it runs any smoother.
nofrost 9:07 PM - 19 April, 2010
hi again,
this problem is not about sl sitting position(next to a power source),or pc/mac performance,plugins... 1.8.1. is working perfect with the same settings .. i did all of these tips .... in my opinion, there is something wrong in 2.0 vers.
i havent got a video camera,sorry.
dirty moose 2:20 AM - 20 April, 2010
im still have a ton of problems. making it really hard to cue records and even while some are playing. ive check needles and they are fine. what givers serato?

Is there an easy way to do this in bulk, or do you have to do it for each song

You can highlight groups of songs and drag/drop all at the same time.
The ctrl, shift, or command keys are your friend:)

Its not a matter of believing anyone... if its a problem we need to get to the bottom of it.
Many "issues" are user error. Posting a video would rule that out, if its indeed an issue with 2.0.
