Did you try with and without beatgrid ??
vestaxxer 6:23 PM - 7 April, 2010
Actually there is no Grid, although Itch says that it has analysed all.
Thi strange behaviour only happens on the macbook...
Cid K 6:33 PM - 7 April, 2010
mmm you got the Xone connected right ?

If you press Shift + Set does that create a Beatgrid point ??
vestaxxer 6:47 PM - 7 April, 2010
Its crazy..every track i drop into a deck sets a beatgrid. I tested on my PC-Notebbok and on the iMac. But on the Macbook, theres not a single Sign of a Grid. It only creates a grid by hitting set >:( and taht doesnt fit at all of course. Yet itch says no files to analyze but shows no BPM, even a reinstallation changed nothing.
cant find the water in the sea..

Wowow that's mess up... Here try this, create a new Crate, add some songs in it and grab that Crate and drop it on Analyze (In Offline Mode Of course)

Let me know how this work out for you.

Noice glad it works... Maybe it was a fuck up with the first scan.

Yeah just choose the chanal you got music on with the PFL and you should hear the FX in your headphones.

Hi vestaxxer.

Are you using an external hard drive at all? It may be that the Mac is only reading and not writing the beatgrid to the file. When the program is open these beatgrids will be kept in memory, but as soon as you close down, they will be lost.

OK - can you please check that the 'Set-Auto BPM" box is checked so the BPM values are being set when analyzing your music?

To get BPM values (and create a beatgrid) make sure this box is selected in the offline mode, go to your ALL... folder in ITCH, then click on the BPM column, you will see all tracks with no BPM value.

You can highlight all of these tracks (click first track, then hold shift and click on the last track which will highlight all tracks, then drag these tracks to the 'Analyze Files' button to re-analyze.

I had the similar problem and I suspect you are using an external HD that is formatted by Windows. Mac is perfectly fine to read and adjust however once you close the app, all disappears. This is because the HD is "read-only" hence you can not change/save anything. What I have done is I have created a folder on the MAc, copied all the files there, reformatted the external HD with MAC and copied back the files. With this you can have the full control over the HD and after that suggest to re-analyze ALL the files so that you can set the BPM correctly. Hope this helps, it sure did help me.
