Old laptop (Win XP) Broken(this one was up graded to 1.9.1), bought a replacemant (Win Vista 32) install SL3 disc ( I bought 1.8.4 V) and i down load the latest Version but they will not connect together, computer says this version is already down loaded(1.9.2) but SL3 does not show being up graded, what am I missing?

Have you already downloaded and installed Scratch Live 1.9.2? When exactly do you get an error message?
Can you please try this?
1) Go to: All Programs> Serato> Scratch LIVE
2) Right click on the Scratch Live icon
3) Choose 'Properties'
Which Scratch Live version do you see?
Let me know and we'll go from there? :)

I have the1.9.2 down loaded on my lap top ,as a compressed zip file, instead of it going to Scratch and updating it self..?

What happens when you double click on that .zip file? Can you please post the exact error message that you are getting?
Which unzip program do you have on your computer?
