i've made several crates but can't drag the songs up or down into different positions, is there some kind of setting I need to do?

Make sure you have your crates sorted by the "#" column, then you can drag the songs into any order you like :)

You can reset these by opening the History panel and clicking the Clear button (in the lower right hand corner).
