do i have to delete version 1.8.3 to get the later version on my pc. how do i get the latest version on my pc and still keep all my music in serato

You do not need to delete anything. Download the latest version here: serato.com and install as usual.

djdannyd is right, you can just download and install the latest version. This will not effect your music, crates and cue points.

You might have to update your Dock if you are using a Mac.
