I am curious to know if there are any other control vinyl that are lighter than the ones that come with Serato SL3? When I compare the control vinyl to a piece of vinyl I just got from Thud Rumble, Super Seal 3D, they are light years apart as far as the weight of the vinyl goes. The Thud Rumble one works so smooth with my slip mats whereas the Serato vinyl is a little harder to manipulate when scratching.

In my personal opinion, the black control vinyl feel best to me. Some say that the red or blue feel better as far as being lighter. I guess it is just personal preference, check out the reds or the blue and see how those feel for you
