How do you adjust the trancifier? I noticed that it began in a 4 beat and now it seams to be 2 beats. Again, how do I adjust the trancifier to switch from 2 to 4 or 4 to 8 beats?

The trancifier length can't be adjusted, it only has its default setting.

Well, you sort of can adjust the Tracifier somewhat on the fly. You have to double or halve the track's BPM, and that will in effect double or halve the Trancifier's lengths, as the track's tagged BPM is how it determines the lengths.

Ah yes, that's one way to do it ;) You can use Alt + up arrow and Alt + down arrow to double/halve the BPM value for a track.
