Cannot hear music to create cue points, when the unit is not connected.

I'm trying to set cue points on different tracks, but without the V7 unit being connected I cannot hear anything to set the cue points. Please let me know what I am doing wrong?

Ther is a "knob" you click on and drag up above the offline player. if it is NOT there just click in the empty space right above teh EQ of the offline player and it will apear... Had the same issue myyself..

Thanks Subdriven, your adviced really helped. The knob did not show up until I clicked above th EQ, then I was able to turn up the sound. Thanks a million.
