Hi There, I use a combination of itunes smart playlists and serato crates to keep my music organised. I keep all my music on an external hard drive. After a long grueling process of migrating from one macbook pro to another I thought I had things back to relatively normal, but not so. I have noticed that most (but not all) of the tracks that are in my serato crates do not have the itunes logo, if I do a search for any of these tracks that do not have the logo, there appears to be 2 copies one in /Volumes/My Passport/MUSIC/itunes external/artist name/unknown album and another in /Volumes/My Passport/MUSIC/I TUNES EXTERNAL/artist name/unknown album. I think that I changed the name from lowercase to uppercase letters at some point recently, and that this must have something to do with there being 2 copies. Both copies play in serato. I would like to get all my tunes in one place without losing any info ie date added etc. and to lose all my doublers. I would obviously still like to retain all my crates as they are, sorry if this is a bit long winded, if you need any other info do not hesitate to contact me.
