Hi everyone
I bought Serato SL3 last year but havn't actually used it yet as I need to buy a new laptop.
I really like the idea of using an external controller to control Serato.
Is there a definitive list of jog-wheel controllers that Serato supports for controlling pitch/position of tracks?
I'm looking for something with just a jog wheel and a pitch slider as everything else can be controlled from the laptop
Cheers, B

Scratching/scrubbing the audio cannot be assigned to MIDI jog wheels. The only controllers that can do this are the few select natively supported HID controllers, like the Pioneer CDJ-400 (and upcoming CDJ-2000/900), Denon 2500/4500, Numark iCDX or DMC2.

Thanks for the info.
The cheapest one there is the Numark DMC2 which is still over £200 and is seriously overkill just to change the pitch/stop/start tracks.
I was hoping there might be something compatible which was literally just a large jog wheel (CDJ 1000 sort of size) a pitch slider and start/stop button.
Maybe Rane should design something up.
Damn shame you can't just calibrate any old USB HID to control pitch.

I agree 1000x!
I small, cheap, very efficient but low features controller for serato would be amazing-- say hello to very mobile yet usable setup
