The right platter on the VCI-300 has a bit of a wobble in it makinng it really tricky to get the sensor level right. Every time I use it I need to amend the sensitivity. Sometimes its fine and other times it just doesn't pick up I'm touching it. I adjust the setting and its fine, then 2 mins later its gone too far the other way and the sensitivity has gone to far its permenantly on red. It just seems as though there is too much play in the platter to get the balance right. This is brand new and been used 2-3 times. I have checked the forum and it recommended unscrewing the platter and checking the 4 screws...done this but no joy. I really don't have the time or money to get this sent back but feel if I don't I'm going to regret having to mess about each time. I'm not convinced this should have got through the quality control at vestax which is unusual as I have had a few of their products.
Any ideas what to do? Nice one
