my hard drive just disconnected while i was building overviews, i had to force quit serato, is it posable that it kurupted my database, or is there something i can do to check ,,,,

i'm on a mac hard drive is formatted for mac only

That could cause problems and most likely the overviews you built were lost.

Does it take Scratch Live longer to load up now?

overviews were lost, i was only at 1000 so it's ok, doesn't seem to be taking any longer start up

I would think you are good to go for now then.
