I bought a brand new dell desktop with intel i5 Processor 8GB RAM 1 TB Harddrive This thing is super fast. I installed serato and when i connect the SL1 box it plays for 1 sec then cuts out sometime the system doesnt even see the SL1 box Please someone tell me whats going on

The PC is 64 bit system But my cousin just bought an HP windoes 7 64bit with less specs than mine and it works fine the 1st time around?? what is going on?

Please read this FAQ regarding issues we've been having with computers that have the "i" series processors in them --> serato.com

Your issue is different than the one that FAQ is referring to but there are still some information regarding things you should try/do.

Also.. try unplugging any other usb devices and disable any sort of Logictech cameras if you have any.

Zach I am happy to say that I have exchanged the computer for another new pc this time I Made sure it was a Core 2 Duo instead of the I series processor. It works great so far and I am a happy camper. I tried everything you could think under the sun with the i5 pc and Nothing worked.

Okay so I have a new machine and given it works but what i find is the usb light comes on like every couple of min and sometimes laggs the audio. Now this is a total diff machine it has e7400 intel core 2 duo 1066 sidebus 8 gb ram now i do how ever have a logitech cam connected at the same time and was curious to see why you said to dicconect it? I will try and see what happens but I have a gig wed night at 10pm and i def cannot have this problem or im going to be in trouble.
