Okay well first I noticed that it would take about 30 minutes to load up my external hard-drive once I plug it in. Then about 2-3 hrs into my event the screen would freeze up, with the last song still playing. But about 1 minute after the screen freezes up, the program (ScratchLive 1.9.2) would crash. So later I re-did my database to see if it would fix the problem, but all it did was speed up the load up time from my ext.hard-drive (sped up-to 1 min). Other than that it still crashes at random times.

Sounds like you could have bad / corrupt files in the library. That is the main reason it would crash on you.

To find those files, disconnect your hardware. Above the crate section you should see "Analyze Files". I suggest doing it manually for the first time in 1.9.2.

Click the word "ALL" in the crate section. Then click a song so it is highlighted. Click ctrl + A and that will highlight all of the music. Once it is highlighted, click and drag it to the analyze files tab.

If you want Scratch Live to BPM your music, before doing that, put a check mark in the "Set Auto BPM" box. To the right of that, select a range the majority of your music will fall between. don't leave it blank or set to none. Once you do those two things, then drag and drop the highlighted mass onto Analyze files.

Okay I'll give it a go....I'm just afraid that It will crash while it analyzes, because it's doing that too.

Alright... It crashed while analyzing on track 895 out of 33028. What now??????

When it crashes while analyzing we can assume its hitting a bad track. If you see which one it is, great. Find it in the library, remove it and then continue analyzing your files.

If you don't see which one it crashed on, you can check the overviewbuilder.log. It is located -

Music
ScratchLIVE
Overviewbuilder.log - Find the last file it was working on. Then open the program again and remove it. Then keep building the overviews.

Uh....I can't seem to find that log. It's almost as if that file doesn't exist in my PC.

Check the _ScratchLIVE_ folder on the external for it.
